Waroeng Iga (Fine Indonesian Cuisine)

An Indonesian restaurant (Waroeng Iga Red Carpet Culinary Sdn Bhd) serving the purest of its kind from their ingredients to their plating. The chef Suwandi all the way from Surabaya Indonesia prepares every dish to its finest quality only leaving you craving for more. The wide spread menu offers from its appetizers, soups, main dishes, desserts to the refreshments. Here is a personal favourite of mine the Ayam Penyet.

Ayam Penyet

The base of your clay bowl is spread with a mild spiced chilly (cabe merah) to give you the flavours that you need. What lays on top is not your typical fried chicken (flattened fried chicken) as this is made using the culinary techniques which gives you not only tender meat that melts in your mouth but as well as crunchy bones. This is then complemented with a fried stuffing tofu (tahu) and Tempeh (Tempe). This plate is then garnished with tomatoes, cucumber, cabbage and salad. This Ala Carte dish comes with steamed white rice and the favourite of many a bowl of Waroeng Iga's Soup. A fine taste of Indonesia available at Encorp Strand Red Carpet Avenue, Kota Damansara.
